Adopt A Highway
April 27, 2003

On Sunday 4/27/03 Troop 449 picked up garbage along Lexington Avenue from Diffley to Wescott.  We split up into 4 different groups.  I think most people were surprised by how much trash by the road you never see.  On average, each person filled up two or three garbage bags of trash.  I think, for the most part, that we had a good time partly because it was a hot, sunny day.  I think it was worth the two service hours that I earned.

The ever present scout smile! (& look at that trash!)

Hey! How come it's not raining?! It's always supposed to rain out here!

Ladies, gentlemen...I think we have a winner!!
