Troop 449 - Service Project
Feed My Starving Children

It was a Saturday afternoon in November when we went to a troop service project. The service project was Feed My Starving Children. At Feed My Starving Children you package food for the kids all over the world. We had packaged more than 3,000 bags of food. In the bags were rice, vegetables, soy and a powder made of chicken. You would have many stations to work at. You had to scoop the food into bags and weight the bags. Then you had to box the bags. Your arms would get a real good workout. We worked for 2 hours straight. It was a fun time and we helped little kids all over the world.
